Sotheby’s Finest & Rarest Whisky Auction

We are thrilled to announce that ‘The Glenlivet Eternal Collection, Second Edition, 56 Year Old, 1 of 1’ has achieved remarkable success at Sotheby’s Finest & Rarest Whisky auction, selling for £75,000 on November 20th.This magnificent bottle and sculpture underscores The Glenlivet’s continuous pursuit of excellence in the world of prestige single malt Scotch whisky. All proceeds will benefit the National Trust for Scotland, dedicated to conserving Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage.

This bespoke artwork represents a convergence of our design philosophy with the heritage and craftsmanship of Scotland’s definitive Speyside single malt. The piece was inspired by the Scottish Landscape, we drew from the untamed beauty of Speyside, capturing both the raw power of nature and the delicate complexity that emerges through time. The sculpture features scorched heather branches rising from an ancient cairn-inspired base – a powerful symbol of endurance, memory, and the passage of decades. The spherical glass decanter containing the 56-year-old whisky sits enthroned upon a richly veined Guatemala green marble base, echoing the rock stacks historically built by Highland clans as memorials. The decanter is crowned with a 24k gold-plated neck and cap, creating a unified sculptural form that transforms exceptional whisky into a complete artistic expression.

It’s an honour to contribute our vision to The Eternal Collection alongside such an exceptional spirit.
